Sown by the Mountain - Elise Wehle
The Meticulous Art of Elise Wehle revolves around the time-intensive act of cutting intricate patterns using a utility knife.
'I’m fascinated by the concepts of revelation, visions, and how spiritual experiences intersect with our physical environment.' In September 2014, artist Elise Wehle and the Turnpike Art Group collaborated on a unique, one-off art piece. We are so honoured to have Sown by the mountain grace our wall http://www.turnpikeartgroup.co.uk/search/label/wehle |
Living for love - Pegasus
North London street artist Pegasus, originally from Chicago but best known for his work in England. His stencilled pieces play with popular culture's most recognizable icons, including Marilyn Monroe, JFK, Amy Winehouse, and Lucille Ball, and sometimes are ironic or controversial. http://www.turnpikeartgroup.co.uk/2015/02/living-for-love-artist-pegasus.html |

Other exciting works in the area
Adjacent to the salon, a neglected Victorian bill board is the proud position for 'Envision' by the renowned street artist Shepard Fairey,
Shepard Fairey travelled from America to produce this magnificent piece.
Fairey rose to fame with the well known, ‘Hope’ poster displaying a stylised Barack Obama in shades of blue and red.
We have James Straffon, the green travel charity Sustrans and Haringey council to thank for this and the uplifting and inviting arena they have created in this area... a welcome delight
